From Zuidam distillery comes this Millstone Oloroso Sherry , kind of a younger and cheaper version of their 12 Years Oloroso. For this whisky they were using smaller 250l casks, re-composed from larger sherry butts.

Nose: a lot of very young Oloroso wine notes, but also prominent notes of sherry vinegar I’m afraid. Not great in whisky, but please get to know this unique vinegar.
